The standard materials used by Integrated
Hydraulics Ltd for the manufacture of our hydraulic
manifolds are:
Ductile Iron Bar,
grade 65-45-12
Tensile strength (minimum) |
448 MPa |
Yield strength (minimum) |
310 MPa |
Elongation (minimum) |
12% |
Hardness (minimum) |
130 BHN |
Hardness (maximum) |
207 BHN |
Manifolds manufactured from ductile
iron are pressure rated to 400 bar (5800 psi).
Aluminium 6061 T651 |
Tensile strength (minimum) |
270 MPa |
Yield strength (minimum) |
240 MPa |
Elongation (minimum) |
10% |
Hardness (minimum) |
85 BHN |
Hardness (maximum) |
100 BHN |
Manifolds manufactured from aluminium
are pressure rated to 210 bar (3000 psi).
Both materials have mechanical properties
well suited for the manufacture of hydraulic manifolds.
Other manufacturing and engineering materials can be sourced and used if required
by clients, and will be quoted on a case by case basis.
